How it started
Orlagh and Cat are both one-man-show entrepreneurs. We started our journey together by meeting up for coffee once in a while to share our business stories, ask for advice, and support each other. We found this so beneficial that we decided to create a network opportunity for other kitchen table businesses as well.
How it's going
We organise 6 networking events for micro business owners per year. At these events entrepreneurs can join us for an interactive gathering in an outdoor setting, where they can meet other small business owners, have the opportunity to share their stories and showcase their hard work and commitment.

Meet Beneath the Canopy
Orlagh and Cat invite you our “Meet Beneath the Canopy” event, where you can connect with like-minded entrepreneurs in a beautiful outdoor setting.
As one-man-show entrepreneurs we sometimes struggle to find a connection with the bigger fish in the small business pond. Their struggles and their wins are so different from ours. That’s why we wanted to create a network opportunity for all the kitchen table businesses who offer products and services that make people feel good.
Join us for a networking event like no other; an interactive gathering in an outdoor setting, where you can meet other small business owners, have the opportunity to share your stories of how you began your business and showcase your hard work and commitment.
With nature connection and well-being activities, refreshments and inspiring talks, Meet Beneath the Canopy is a networking event with a difference.
All this takes place in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Glencullen Adventure Park.
When: 25th September 2025, 10:00-12:30.
Where: The GAP, Glencullen (click here for location on Google Maps).
What: Be sure to wear warm, waterproof clothing and comfortable shoes. Be mindful of your impact on the environment: consider carpooling and bring a reusable cup if you have one.

As a solo entrepreneur, the end-of-year office party often means... no party at all. But not this year!
Orlagh and Cat are bringing the festive cheer with a special edition of Meet Beneath the Canopy. A Christmas celebration designed just for small business owners, freelancers, and creative souls who usually miss out on the seasonal sparkle.
