If you’ve been following Beneath the Canopy for a while, you’ll know that we care deeply about making nature connection easy, accessible, and welcoming. Whether someone joins a forest bathing walk, signs up for a digital course, or explores one of our self-guided experiences, the journey should feel smooth, intuitive, and beautifully simple. Behind the scenes, that kind of experience depends on good digital infrastructure. For us, that’s Boreen.
Work is changing rapidly. Digitalisation, AI, remote work, and constant connectivity mean people are dealing with faster pace, blurred boundaries, and higher expectations. These transformations can intensify existing stressors or create new ones if not managed well. Workplace stress is now recognised as one of the biggest health and safety challenges in modern work.
As we leave the heady days of summer behind us, we face forward to the next threshold in the Wheel of the Year.
Whether you want to chill out, get active or hit the mountain bike trails, Glencullen has something for everyone.
We are delighted (or should we say stoked) to let you know that we have partnered with Stoked & Woke Clothing, a vibrant European clothing brand known for its bold nature themed designs, ethical production, and deep commitment to sustainability.
As summer draws to a close, we can mirror nature by harvesting what we need to bring into the darker months.
As midsummer draws near, we can get caught up in the chaos and energy of this season as nature flourishes.
It’s No Mow May! This initiative was first launched by Plantlife in 2019, asking us to pause mowing our grass for just one month to help nature thrive. Behind this simple idea lies something urgent: our landscapes are losing the wildflowers and insects that keep ecosystems functioning. With 97% of flower-rich meadows lost since the 1930s, gardens now play a crucial role in providing habitat.
As the Celtic Wheel continues to turn, we find ourselves at Bealtaine, which marks the beginning of summer.
We love connecting to nature by the seaside. As a former tour guide and year-round sea swimmer, Cat has seen a lot of different Irish beaches. In this blog she shares her top 10 favourite beaches with you in no particular order.
As the Celtic Wheel of the Year continues to turn, we find ourselves at Spring Equinox, where light and dark are equal. (Equi meaning equal, nox meaning dark or night).
People who follow us know that Cat has a passion for wild tea. But what is wild tea? Wild tea is tea made from plants that grow naturally in the wild. The ingredients are often foraged for, but Cat also grows a lot of her ingredients in her garden. This technically makes it not wild anymore, but it does make it safe and available.
